I received my B.A. from St. Thomas University in Miami, Florida, and received my teaching licensure for Elementary Education from UNC-Asheville. I have two children I am very proud of; my daughter graduated from UNC-Chapel Hill and now lives and works in Arlington, VA, while my son is going to college at Michigan State University.
